chapter 3 bonus 3
You may remember nightmare_child_35 from the last round of Q&A, or you may not.
chapter 3 bonus 2
To be continued?!
chapter 3 bonus 1
Nice save.
Welcome back to Cucumber Quest! (Cucumber Q&A strips, anyway.) Thank you, as always, for all of your questions.
guest 5 – jonathan griffiths
Today’s guest strip comes from Jon of Beyond the Canopy, one of the webcomics that motivated me to start my own! BtC is a fun adventure story with a unique energy, charming writing, excellent character designs and a sinful amount of puns. (But, well, that was obvious.) If you haven’t already, give it a read! I think you’ll love it.
Thanks so much, Jon!
guest 4 – zack morrison
Today’s strip comes from Zack, creator of Paranatural, which I would not be exaggerating to call one of the best comics on the internet. The art is on point and only getting better, the characters are so great I can just barely pick a favorite (it’s Forge), and the writing has for years inspired me to do better in my own work. You probably already read Paranatural if you’re here, but if you don’t, you really owe it to yourself.
Thanks so much, Zack!
guest 3 – sophie crystals
Today’s guest strip comes from Sophie, creator of Big Crystals, a comic you should want to read just from the title, but I’ll keep going. BC is a down-to-earth fantasy story with a ton of heart, set in a mysterious world that I’m excited to learn more about, with characters I already love (Maggie…!) and a good sense of humor. If you like anime RPGs, cute friends, or crystals, (and as a reader of this comic, you likely do,) I urge you to check it out.
Thanks so much, Sophie!
guest 2 – leigh davis
Today’s guest strip comes from Leigh Davis, creator of Jailbird, another favorite webcomic of mine. Aside from a distinctively adorable visual style which is on full display in this strip, I think Jailbird’s charm lies in its unique world and its warm cast of characters that feel like family after just a few pages. If you haven’t read it yet, I think you’ll fall in love with them like I have.
Thanks so much, Leigh!
guest 1 – victoria grace elliott
Today’s guest comic comes from Victoria, creator of balderdash! or a tale of two witches, a comic I’ve long admired for its elegant visuals, lovingly crafted world, and relaxing pace. It’s one of those comics I really do wish I could live in, but the titular two witches are so charming that I’m okay with cheering them on from afar. If you love shoujo manga, warm and inviting fantasy settings, or baked goods, I can’t recommend balderdash! enough.
Thank you, Victoria!
